Any malfunction of one membrane nitrogen production equipment will automatically switch to another nitrogen production operation.
The entire control process is completed by PLC, and PLC redundancy is optional.
Working principle
Generally all gases can permeate through the polymer membrane. The process is that gas molecules are first adsorbed and dissolved on the surface of the high-pressure side of the membrane, then diffuse in the membrane with the help of a concentration gradient, and finally resolved from the low-pressure side of the membrane. The result is Small molecules and highly polar molecules (such as water vapor, oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) pass faster and are enriched on the permeate side of the membrane; while large molecules and relatively weak molecules (such as nitrogen, argon, etc.) ) Has a slower passing speed, and is retained on the retention side of the membrane to be enriched to achieve the purpose of separation of the mixed gas. Membrane separation uses the difference in the permeation rate of various gases on the polymer membrane to carry out gas separation. The driving force of separation is the partial pressure difference of the gas on both sides of the membrane, so membrane gas separation has no phase change and does not require Regeneration, it has the advantages of simple equipment, low operation and maintenance costs.
Equipment build: The membrane separation nitrogen generator mainly consists of an air compressor, a cold drying machine, a filter, a membrane separator, a nitrogen buffer tank, etc. The air compressor provides compressed air, while the refrigerated dryer and filter dry and purify the compressed air. The membrane separator is the core component responsible for separating nitrogen and oxygen, and the nitrogen buffer tank is used to store the separated nitrogen.
